DR LAURA BLACKMORE

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Dr Laura is a friendly, caring and gentle dentist and prides herself on building strong relationships with her patients. A true perfectionist, Laura always aims to provide the highest standard of care. 

 Laura loves treating patients of all ages and all aspects of general dentistry but is particularly passionate about children (aiming to make every appointment a positive experience to set children up for a lifetime of healthy teeth) and gum disease (periodontics) and is a member of the Australian Society of Periodontology, and has worked in specialist periodontal and holistic dental practice prior to joining Collaroy Dental. 

 Laura graduated at the top of her cohort as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Newcastle in 2015, winning the faculty of Health Sciences Medal and the Colgate prize for most outstanding final year student. She returned to university and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University in 2020 and was awarded the Dean’s Award for achieving a Distinction average. 

 Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Dental Science (CSU) 
• Bachelor of Oral Health, Distinction (UoN) 

 Outside of Dentistry: 

Laura plays social netball and enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, especially at Narrabeen Lake or Long Reef Beach.
